calo is a nutrition and wellness platform operated at calo.gr that connects you with your dietitian. Through calo you can view the personalised meal plans, grocery lists, and workouts your dietitian creates for you, track your weight and progress over time, record blood test results, and stay in contact with your dietitian. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using calo you agree to the practices described here.
We collect the account details you provide (name, email), the health and nutrition information you or your dietitian enter (weight, blood test results, meal plans, dietary preferences), and technical data such as device and usage information needed to operate the service.
If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, we request only your basic profile information — your name and email address. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your calo account and to identify you to your dietitian. We do not access your contacts, posts, files, or any other data from these providers, and we do not use this information for advertising.
We use your information to deliver the service, allow your dietitian to manage your plan, personalise your experience, maintain security, and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Your health information is shared only with the dietitian managing your account and with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and authentication providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the service is used. In regions where consent is required (such as the EEA), we use Google Consent Mode: analytics and advertising cookies stay disabled by default until you accept them through our cookie banner. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies. We do not use your data for personalised advertising.
